BioNet Work Placement Program Update - Next intake spring 2024

We thank all interested applicants and will be in contact soon.  Our 2nd flight is estimated to open in the spring of 2023 and we look forward to opening back up for submissions at that time.  We anticipate intake of students and companies between 3 and 5 times from Winter 2023 through Summer 2025 and encourage interested participants to sign up to our mailing list here to not miss out on upcoming deadlines.

BioNet Alberta and Genome Alberta are pleased to announce the  BioNet Alberta work placement and industry partnership program. This program will pair recent graduates from biological and computer sciences possessing relevant skills in bioinformatics and computational biology (B/CB) with Alberta based life sciences and agricultural companies that are utilizing  genomics/omics technologies. The internships will be a 6 month term with the goal of fostering and retaining talent in Alberta while helping industry enhance its value and growth using B/CB.

BioNet Alberta is a capacity building initiative funded under the Genome Canada Regional Priorities Partnership Program in coordination with Genome Alberta and coordinates resources at all 3 major Albertan universities.
