BioNet Seminar Series 2024-2025

Held Online

We are now accepting speakers for the 2024/25 BioNet Seminar Series.  This online only offering provides a laid-back atmosphere for primary researchers, trainees and industry partners to present to peers.  Presentations are typically 20 minutes in length with time allocated for questions.  Seminars are held the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 12noon MST.

BioNet Work Placement Program

BioNet Alberta and Genome Alberta in collaboration with the Government of Alberta and Advanced Education are pleased to announce the  BioNet Alberta work placement and industry partnership program. This program will pair recent graduates from biological and computer sciences possessing relevant skills in bioinformatics and computational biology (B/CB) with Alberta based life sciences and agricultural companies that are utilizing  genomics/omics technologies. The internships will be a 6 month term with the goal of fostering and retaining talent in Alberta while helping industry enhance its value and growth using B/CB.

Our 2nd flight is now open for applications from recent graduates and interested industry partners.  Please find links to the forms below and submit any questions to us by email.
